Pomo Carbon Fiber Fender
Real carbon, not a printed sticker. The Pomo Carbon Fiber Fender is laid up in genuine twill-weave carbon fibre and finished in deep gloss — it takes weight off the bike, keeps spray off your drivetrain, and looks like the upgrade it actually is.
Genuine twill-weave carbon fibre
Authentic woven cloth, with the diagonal weave running continuously across the entire surface and following every curve. This is the material itself, not a hydro-dipped pattern or a carbon-look decal over plastic — you can see the weave change direction as the panel bends, which is the one thing a fake finish can never do.
Lighter than the part it replaces
Carbon delivers the same coverage and more stiffness at a fraction of the mass of steel or thick moulded plastic. Weight saved on bodywork is unsprung and high up — exactly the weight that hurts handling and suspension response most, so you feel it out of proportion to the number on the scale.
Stiff without being brittle
The layup holds its shape at speed instead of fluttering in the airflow or drumming against the tire on rough ground. No flex means no rubbing, no cracked mounting tabs, no rattles working loose over a season.
Close-fitting hugger profile
Wraps tight to the tire radius to catch spray at the source rather than letting it fan out across the bike. That keeps grit, water and road salt off your chain, sprockets, shock body and swingarm — the components that get expensive when they wear.
Moulded mounting boss
An integrated raised boss with a pre-drilled hole locates the fender positively and spreads clamping load into the laminate instead of concentrating it on a bare edge. No drilling into your new carbon on the kitchen table.
High-gloss UV-stable clear coat
The resin finish stays deep and wet-looking rather than fading to a chalky grey after a summer outdoors, and it wipes clean after a muddy ride instead of holding dirt in the weave.
Arrives in a protective gift box
Boxed properly in a rigid Pomo presentation box, so it reaches you without a single chip on an edge — and it presents well if you're buying it for someone else.
