A warped or worn rotor is what you feel as a pulsing lever and a brake that grabs instead of bites. The Pomo Brake Disc is a drilled steel rotor on a machined black carrier — precise fitment, honest stopping power, and enough ventilation to shed the heat that causes fade in the first place.

Excellent heat dissipation
A full ring of drilled holes around the friction band gives hot air and brake gas somewhere to go instead of building up between the pad and the disc face. Brake fade isn't the pad giving up — it's trapped heat and gas lifting the pad off the surface. Vent it and the lever stays firm through repeated hard stops down a long descent.

Precise fitment
A machined bolt circle and centre bore mean the disc sits true and square on the hub. Get this wrong and you get run-out: a rotor that wobbles a few hundredths of a millimetre knocks the pads back on every rotation, which you feel as a pulsing lever and hear as a rhythmic scrape. Get it right and the brake is silent and consistent.

Machined carrier centre
The black inner section is machined and finished separately from the friction band. It keeps the disc flat as it heats up and cools down — thermal cycling is what turns a cheap rotor into a warped one — and it takes weight out of the middle of the disc, where the material isn't doing any braking anyway.

High durability
A steel friction surface built to survive a season of grit, water and heat cycles without scoring, glazing or blueing. Steel over cast iron means it won't surface-rust into a pitted mess after being left wet for a week.

Consistent pad bite
A uniform, correctly finished surface lets new pads bed in evenly across their whole face. Even bedding is what gives you predictable brake feel from cold to hot — no dead first pull, no sudden grab halfway through the lever travel.

Drilled, not slotted
Holes rather than slots keep the friction band continuous and strong while still venting, and they let you see pad wear and disc thickness at a glance without pulling the wheel.
